On the sunny side of life

Sonya Looney is someone who knows a thing or two about stamina and what it takes to perform. Since 2008 she has podiumed at every single endurance competition that she entered – Every One. Based in Colorado she will take what is thrown at her. 3 feet of snow – no problem, 4000m / 12,000’ elevation – no problem. Sonya just gets out there.

Sonya is the sunshine in the team – literally. A former solar design engineer, she has now moved across to playing with bikes for a living. Of course, not everything from her old job has been left behind. Her nickname is ‘Sunny’.
