Great shot!
Yuki Saito was born and raised in Tokyo. From an early age on he showed an equal enthusiasm and talent for sport. Even though he initially indulged himself in basket ball, however. With his team he won the national japanese high school championship for two consecutive years before going to the United States in 2003. But what did he do in the homeland of basket ball?
He turned to biking. An absolute comprehensible step indeed. In 2007 he went pro and remains to be the only japanese in the NORBA, Americas toughest biking series. His greatest successess to date were him winning the 12 hours of Snowmass and finishing the Rocky Mountain Ultra Endurance Series in second place. Along the way Yuki manages to take some time to coach other bikers from beginner to pro.
